WHERE IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD?

The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT GOD SINGING?

This scripture tells us things about God that perhaps

we did not know; or just never thought about.

He is in our midst. He is the Mighty One. He will save us.

He rejoices over us. He is glad. He will give us quietness.

He loves us. He sings over us. He is personal with each of us.

God wants to be personal to us. He desires for us to know

Him intimately. Some people think that God is always angry

with them. This verse says that He is happy with us and rejoices

over us. God is far more pleased with us than we are pleased

with each other and ourselves. Many times religion has viewed

and taught to the masses that it is so hard to please God.

Actually, the exact opposite is true. God has only two

requirements for pleasing Him. They are: Love the Lord

your God with all your heart, soul, and mind; and love your

neighbor as yourself. The loving God is easy and the

loving our neighbor is easy. But sometimes we fall way

short of loving ourselves. The reason: we know who

we are and what we have done wrong. So does God.

He knows the wrongs we do even before we do them.

He knew that we would need forgiveness. That is why

He has provided it in Jesus. If you are not singing over

yourself today because you are not happy with yourself,

then make a choice to love yourself so that you can

love others. It is a choice. Everything in faith is a choice.

Believe and receive.

FACT: GOD LOVES YOU... RECEIVE THAT LOVE

JESUS IS THE DOOR OF THE SHEEP

Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly,

I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers,

but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door.

If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved,

and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 10:7-9

WHO ARE THE SHEEP?

Years before Jesus and years after Jesus there have been people

who said that they were the way to God. All of those people

died and were not resurrected. Jesus is the only one who

came to earth and took the form of a man and died and was

resurrected. He walked the face of the earth and performed

miracles of healing, deliverance, provision, etc. He lived a

sinless life and at age 33 He died. Three days later He was

resurrected and forty days later He ascended to Heaven.

Do you know anyone else who did those things? Most

of the so called agents of God did none of those things

except being born as men or women. And their bodies

were buried and still remain in the ground. Jesus said He "is"

the door of the sheep, not "was" but "is". The scripture

says that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us.

That means that He is still alive and is praying for us

at the right hand of His Father and our Father.

Jesus issues an invitation to enter into the Kingdom by

Him and be promised an everlasting life in Heaven.

Sheep always need a shepherd. We have a shepherd who

is good and leads us into good pastures. He leads us

into good places for our benefit.

ENTER THE DOOR OF JESUS

AND FOLLOW THE GOOD SHEPHERD
