We've Got the Power!

The Cross of Christ has two sides. The front of the Cross speaks of
Salvation. A debt paid in full, forgiven sins, and an eternal afterlife in
the presence of our Almighty Father God and Jesus. But there is another
side of the Cross that not many Christians dwell on and that is the back of
the Cross. The back is where Jesus took the stripes delivered by Roman
soldiers. Everything that God allowed Jesus to bear, as Jesus received it
of His own free will to save all humanity, had meaning. It was to restore
the life and power originally given to Adam by God. The Bible tells us
(Isaiah 53:5) "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for
our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed."(KJV) The Cross is power. All we have to do is to
plug into it and if we have faith, the Cross will recharge our power.

Most people in the world know of Christ. Those that are not Christian will
tell you that He was anything but one person of a Trinity comprised of the
Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. They will not profess the deity
of Christ, nor would they dream of actually picking up the Bible and reading
it, let alone study it And yet they ban it and speak harshly of it. If
there is not true knowledge and power in that book, what is everyone afraid
of? And that is such a shame. And there are many Christians today that
will not take the time to study the Bible. It is still the best book in
print today. Even the best and most popular novels ever written with their
second and third, and plus, plus printings, have been printed and translated
to reach the masses for some 2000 years. This book and Faith, which Christ
said can be as little as a "mustard seed" and the Cross, can set you free
from, and give you power over, everything that the devil can and will throw
at you here on earth. And yet the world refuses to accept Jesus and what He
did on the Cross and therefore doom themselves to a life of the world...a
world oppressed by Satan and his legions of demons. They offer Man strife,
disease, crippling disfigurement and death with no hope of eternal peace
with their Creator.

And many Christians are on the same road sadly to say. These Christians are
willing to sit in a church one day a week and give God an hour out of their
lives and pay their tithes. They don't try to change their lifestyle and
language and the saddest part of it all is that they don't even know what
they have!!! They think that illness is for everyone. It is a fact of
life. Well, for a life without faith and without Jesus that is true. And
for those that accept Jesus and don't have faith that is true as well. When
you accept Christ and the Cross and you have FAITH in what that did and does
for you, you are free from the things that plague man. If Jesus was not the
way to healing and health, why did he perform miracles of restoration of
health, both mind and body, when He was on earth? The Bible also tells us
that (John 10:10) "I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly."(KJV) Christ came to insure us a good life not only
here but after death as well. Make no mistake...Satan is the author of all
that is evil and bad. He stole what God had intended for man and that was a
bit of Heaven on Earth as the Garden of Eden is described. (And that is
another teaching I will not go into here) But when Jesus died and before He
returned to the Father, he descended to Hell, confronted Satan, and took
back the keys to hell, death, and the grave. And then he said to his
disciples, (Matthew 16:19) "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of
heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever
you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (JKV) And that my dear friend
is YOUR power. When you start to feel as though you are coming down with
something, or trouble is heading your way, rebuke it in Jesus name. Then
,with faith, bind it and reject it! Then the Cross and the words of Jesus
Himself assure you that it is also bound in Heaven. Something that is bound
is going no where! Hand it back to the emissary of Hell that brought it to
you and tell him you don't accept it and to take it back to where it came
from. Please learn to use your power Children of God. This not only
applies to illness, but it is power over your finances and everything else
in your life. If you say that you don't have Faith, then read the Bible as
it will help you to build your faith. The Word will tell you this too.
(Romans 10:17) "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God."(KJV)

Would you pay for a car that is fully loaded with everything that would make
traveling better and easier and more comfortable, then park it in your
garage and only ride your bike everywhere? Well, Jesus came and paid the
price. He bought you a life of abundance from your Heavenly Father. And He
purchased your Power. When He was returning to the Father he told his
disciples (us) that they (we) would do all the things that He had done and
even more. The disciples received the power from Christ and continued to
heal the sick and perform miracles in Jesus name, just as Jesus had done
while on earth. But what they had and we lack is Faith. Read the Word,
build your Faith, and then use it and then use all the abundance that Christ
bought you at the Cross. We've got the power!.....Patti
