Who Has the Wisdom?

WHO HAS THE WISDOM?
GOD!
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him.
James 1:5

WHO NEEDS THE WISDOM?
WE DO!
The answers are easy if we know the right question to ask.
God has all the answers and all the questions. We already know
that God is all knowing, but He wants us to communicate our
questions to Him. He is a detail God. Sometimes we don't know
the answers because we don't even know what questions to ask.
Many times we need to ask God, what is the question that I need
to ask you about this situation. Case in point: Once I was preparing
dinner for fifty people. I had a large amount of turkey dressing to put
into pans. The large pan that I had it in would not fit into my oven.
As I looked at the pan and two additional pans that I had before me,
I said to God; God, which of these pans should I use. There was no
answer. Then He called my attention to a pan on the table behind me.
It was not either, or of the two in front of me. I had asked the wrong
question. Now when I am stymied in a situation where I am not
receiving the information that I need to make a decision, I ask God.
God, what is the question that I need to be asking you about this
situation? You will be amazed that as you are reading this message
there is a situation in your life where you need some answers.
What is the question that you need to be asking God?
We all lack wisdom, just in different areas. The joy of the
whole situation is that God never gets angry at us for asking
questions. We get into a problem when we try to do
things on our own without asking Him for help.
ASK HIM TO GIVE YOU THE QUESTION AND THEN
ASK HIM THE QUESTION THAT HE GIVES YOU.
GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING...
THAT'S WHY HE IS GOD!

WHO SAVED US AND CALLED US?

(God), who has saved us and called us

with a holy calling,

not according to our works,

but according to His own purpose

and grace which was given to us

in Christ Jesus before time began,

2 Timothy 1:9

WHAT IS THE HOLY CALLING?

This is the greatest news! God did not call us because we were

so great. He called us because He had a purpose for us.

We have a call on our lives that only can be fulfilled by God

through us. And His grace (willingness to use His power on our behalf)

was given to us to accomplish His purpose in us.

My, oh, my. That is such great news. God did not call

us to do His purpose without equipping us to fulfill the plan.

THEN, what is the problem? Why do we keep going to God

in prayer begging Him to work in our lives. He already has.

His grace did not stop when we were born, or when we were

born again. His grace works on and on. If we are not accomplishing

our destiny then guess who is the problem? NOT GOD. I don't know

a single person who is perfect and always does the right thing

at the right time. But God's grace covers those shortcomings and

moves ahead with His plan for our life. Thank God, we are not

used by God because we are so great and never make a mistake.

God keeps us covered. When we are doing the best that we know

to do, the grace of God comes along and fills in the gaps.

Sometimes when we feel that we have failed the worst,

God is saying, "That's okay, I've got you covered. Keep

on moving". Is that great news, or what?

YOU CAN MOVE OUT TODAY IN FAITH,

WITH GOD'S GRACE.

GOD HAS YOU COVERED.

WHERE IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD?

The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT GOD SINGING?

This scripture tells us things about God that perhaps

we did not know; or just never thought about.

He is in our midst. He is the Mighty One. He will save us.

He rejoices over us. He is glad. He will give us quietness.

He loves us. He sings over us. He is personal with each of us.

God wants to be personal to us. He desires for us to know

Him intimately. Some people think that God is always angry

with them. This verse says that He is happy with us and rejoices

over us. God is far more pleased with us than we are pleased

with each other and ourselves. Many times religion has viewed

and taught to the masses that it is so hard to please God.

Actually, the exact opposite is true. God has only two

requirements for pleasing Him. They are: Love the Lord

your God with all your heart, soul, and mind; and love your

neighbor as yourself. The loving God is easy and the

loving our neighbor is easy. But sometimes we fall way

short of loving ourselves. The reason: we know who

we are and what we have done wrong. So does God.

He knows the wrongs we do even before we do them.

He knew that we would need forgiveness. That is why

He has provided it in Jesus. If you are not singing over

yourself today because you are not happy with yourself,

then make a choice to love yourself so that you can

love others. It is a choice. Everything in faith is a choice.

Believe and receive.

FACT: GOD LOVES YOU... RECEIVE THAT LOVE

JESUS IS THE DOOR OF THE SHEEP

Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly,

I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers,

but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door.

If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved,

and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 10:7-9

WHO ARE THE SHEEP?

Years before Jesus and years after Jesus there have been people

who said that they were the way to God. All of those people

died and were not resurrected. Jesus is the only one who

came to earth and took the form of a man and died and was

resurrected. He walked the face of the earth and performed

miracles of healing, deliverance, provision, etc. He lived a

sinless life and at age 33 He died. Three days later He was

resurrected and forty days later He ascended to Heaven.

Do you know anyone else who did those things? Most

of the so called agents of God did none of those things

except being born as men or women. And their bodies

were buried and still remain in the ground. Jesus said He "is"

the door of the sheep, not "was" but "is". The scripture

says that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us.

That means that He is still alive and is praying for us

at the right hand of His Father and our Father.

Jesus issues an invitation to enter into the Kingdom by

Him and be promised an everlasting life in Heaven.

Sheep always need a shepherd. We have a shepherd who

is good and leads us into good pastures. He leads us

into good places for our benefit.

ENTER THE DOOR OF JESUS

AND FOLLOW THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Have Questions?.....

THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT ARE

BEYOND OUR ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND

As you do not know what is the way of the wind,

Or how the bones grow in the womb of her

who is with child, So you do not know the works

of God who makes everything.

Ecclesiastes 11:5

WHERE OUR ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND STOPS,

GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT FILLS IN THE GAPS.

There are many things that we will not understand this side

of Heaven. But we have a Father (God) who wants to reveal

much more to us than we are willing to explore.

George Washington Carver looked at a peanut one day and

asked God why He created it. He closed himself away in a room

and when he came out he had thousands of uses for the peanut.

God is no respecter of persons. He will give anyone who asks

the answers that he needs or wants to know. How many

things in our life are we struggling with and looking for answers?

God wants to give us more information than we ever ask Him

to give us. He is not short on information. We are short on

asking. "Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find."

What are the areas in your life today where you need answers?

God is waiting for you to ask. You may say. He knows that

I need answers so why doesn't He just tell me.

"You have not because you ask not." God works on a

relationship basis. If you need an answer to a long

standing problem in your life. ASK! If there is a lack of

understanding in an area of your life. ASK!

GOD IS READY, WILLING, AND ABLE

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS!

A Virtuous Wife....

More words of Wisdom and Comfort from Carol Manzo...Enjoy
PROVERBS 31

DESCRIBES THE VIRTUOUS WIFE

Who can find a virtuous wife?

For her worth is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband safely trusts her;

So he will have no lack of gain.

She does him good and not evil

all the days of her life.

Proverbs 31:10-12

EXAMPLE OF WHAT A WOMAN

SHOULD BE

How much better the world would be if we as women

strove to meet these qualifications. And men looked for

women for their wives with these attributes. It seems that

many marriages these days do not last too long because

one or the other of the partners did not qualify to be called virtuous.

What does virtuous mean? It means, moral, ethical, honest, noble,

upright, pure and good. Instead of those qualities, it

seems that a person is attracted to coarseness and flashy flesh.

The greatest part of the virtuous woman is that she is usually

beautiful as well as all the other virtues listed.

We should strive to allow the beauty on the inside to press

through to the outside. A man with a trustworthy wife will

prosper in all areas of his life because she is an asset and not

a liability. She is open and honest with him. He never has

to fear that she will do something to harm him or his

reputation. A man with a virtuous wife brings him respect

among his peers. He never has to wonder what is going

on with her behind the scenes because he knows that

she is trustworthy and honest in all her dealings.

THIS IS WHAT A MAN SHOULD

LOOK FOR IN A WIFE
