The Keys to Binding and Loosing.....

By Carol Manzo.....

WE HAVE THE KEYS TO "BIND AND LOOSE"

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven,

and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful)

on earth must be what is already bound in Heaven;

and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth

must be what is already loosed in Heaven.

Matthew 16:19

WHAT IS THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION

OF "BINDING AND LOOSING"?

The plural word "keys" suggests

that there are many keys.

The scripture gives an overall view

of what having the keys means.

When we see things that are

improper and unlawful in Heaven;

we are to "bind" those things

from operating here on earth.

For instance,

there is NO sickness in Heaven;

therefore one key is to

bind sickness away from people

and loose health.

Another example is

binding and loosing of finances.

There is no lack in Heaven

so we are to bind the spirit of poverty

in people's lives and loose abundance and favor.

PIECE BY PIECE WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT

"BINDING" AND "LOOSING"

ON OUR PART OF THE EARTH.

What Keeps You From Crying Out to God?.....

Some more words of spiritual wisdom from Carol Manzo....

WHAT KEEPS SOME PEOPLE FROM

CRYING OUT TO GOD FOR HEALING

O Lord my God,

I cried out to You and

You healed me.

Psalms 30:2

GOD SAID IN HOSEA, MY PEOPLE PERISH

FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

We cannot ask, believe and receive something

that we do not know about. And not only the

knowing is important. It is the acting on what

the Word of God says. It seems in this passage

there are three qualifications listed.

O Lord my God. Recognize God as your Lord.

I cried out to You. Cry out to Him.

You healed me.

Believe He wants to heal you.

He has made provision to heal you.

And He will heal you.

And always remember... God loves you and

wants you to be complete in every area of your life,

body, soul (mind, will and emotions)

and your spirit to be born into His kingdom.

GOD IS THE BEST FATHER YOU COULD

EVER HAVE AND HE WANTS ONLY THE

BEST FOR ALL HIS CHILDREN.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY TO THOSE IN THE U.S.A......

What a wonderful message Carol Manzo has written for us today. Especially
as this is a day of Thanksgiving. Jesus is on the top of my list to be
thankful for. How about you?

HIMSELF, JESUS, TOOK OUR

SINS IN HIS OWN BODY

Who himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree,

that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--

by whose stripes you were healed.

1 Peter 2:24

WHAT ABOUT THE STRIPES?

Jesus himself took our sins on his own body on the tree.

That means that every sin for everybody who has ever lived

or will ever live Jesus took those sins at the cross.

We should be free from the guilt of sin

once we have accepted Jesus as our Savior.

When we sin and we confess that sin, it is gone.

The blood of Jesus washed

away the sin. The stripes (39) represented the

sickness and disease that He took on His own body

just like He took the sin. Therefore as surely

as He took our sin He took our disease.

You say, then why am I sick. Maybe you never

heard that by the stripes of Jesus you were healed.

Learn about it today,

remember faith to be healed

comes by hearing the Word of God.

So Shall You Serve the Lord Your God....

Provided for our readers by Carol Manzo of Cedar Park, TX

So shall you serve the Lord your God,

And He will bless your bread and your water.

And I will take sickness away

from the midst of you.

Exodus 23:25

IT STUCK IN MY MIND

BECAUSE IT WAS SO IMPORTANT

Dr. Roy Hicks said before he ate a meal

he always blessed the food because of Exodus 23:25.

As I remember, this is what was said.

Father, you said you would bless our food

and our drink and take sickness away from us.

Thank you and we receive this food and drink as

blessed and sanctified and we thank you for

taking sickness away from us.

Blessing the food is more than a spiritual exercise.

It can be a matter of sickness and health.

When we thank God and ask Him to bless the

food and drink, we are asking His blessing

and protection over any problem that might be

in the food and nowadays that is especially important.

And more so if you travel out of the country.

GOD ALWAYS HONORS

AND PERFORMS HIS WORD.

For those Who Reverence God's name......

The wisdom you find below was written by a wonderful friend and Sister in
Christ, Carol Manzo...enjoy!

But to you who fear (honor) My name,

The Sun of Righteousness shall arise

with healing in His wings;

Malachi 4:2

WHO DOES THE

SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS REFER TO?

The Sun of Righteousness refers to Jesus.

He is the Sun and we are the Moon.

We are to be a reflection of Him.

The Moon has no light of it's own;

it only reflects the light of the Sun.

At night you can observe the moon.

Sometimes it is a sliver of light, or half-moon,

and this is when the earth comes

between the moon and the sun.

That is true in spiritual things also.

When the things of earth come between us

and Jesus, we do not reflect Him as we should.

We just reflect a portion of who He is.

GOD WANTS TO ARISE IN US

AND BRING HEALING TO THOSE

WE COME IN CONTACT WITH

EVERYDAY.

There is Always One in Every Crowd....

Have you ever noticed that no matter where you go, like a grocery store,
department store, school, or sadly, even church, there is always one person
that seems to have been sent there by Satan himself? And worse yet, they
seem to have been sent to you directly to just swing on your last nerve? And
if you have worked in more places than one over the years, you have
discovered the same thing. There is ALWAYS one or two that just make life
miserable for everyone. What is with that anyway?

Well, if you are not walking with God you will have to deal with people like
this always. You will have no peace with people like this and feel
intimidated, or aggressive, or be stressed to the maximum on your job or
where ever you go. Or, worse yet, you will become one of these people
yourself because you will adopt a "If you can't beat them, join them"
mentality. But I would guess that even if you are not walking with God, but
you believe in Him, you have raised your head toward heaven after an
encounter with someone like this and said, "God, just give me strength to
put up with this!".

Ever notice how often we ask God for strength? Well, through life's trials
and tribulations and through people like this God is actually giving you
strength. Stop and think about it for a moment. What would happen if you
never exercised your body? After a period of time you would become weak and
flabby. Your health would diminish and you would be subject to every little
bug that came along. You would fall victim to everything.

God knows that just as our bodies need exercise, so does, what I call, our
Faith Muscle. The devil has legions of demons out there and they are
crawling all over people. People that we refer to as bullies, troublemakers,
gossips, negative thinkers, and those that think everyone is stupid except
them, control freaks, and those just plain vicious to everyone they meet. We
would like to think that these types of people are just in the world or of
the devil and not of the Christian community. But sadly, this is not so.
They are everywhere. And believe it or not, God uses these people to
exercise our Faith Muscle. When you use your Faith Muscle instead of the
flesh, you can handle these people with patience and love. You can witness
to the lost just by your behavior. These people are used to being hated.
They get their kicks by hurting people. They get their strength and self
worth by making others seem less than them. They won't know what to do with
someone who demonstrates "Christ" in their everyday life and confrontations.
Who knows, you just might save a soul and bring one of these people to the
knowledge and belief of Jesus Christ. You just might remind that wayward
Christian of how far they have strayed from the path they took up when they
gave their life to Jesus.

I know, I know, this sounds so easy for me to say, and you think that I
don't know what it is like to come up against these people. Yes I do. We all
do and we always will here on earth. But what I am trying to tell you is
that if you practice, and rise above the tricks of the enemy, you too can
accomplish peace among these types of people. All you have to do is exercise
that old Faith Muscle everyday and remember that God will always go before
you into battle with the enemy, spiritual or in the flesh. In Joshua 5:
13-14 NKJV it says, And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he
lifted his eyes and looked, and behold a man stood opposite him with his
sword drawn in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you
for us or the adversaries?" So he said, "No, but as Commander of the Army of
the Lord, I have now come." Joshua and just a handful of people were told by
God to bring the walls of Jericho down. In the natural, Joshua knew that
this was impossible. In fact, as he and his people started walking around
the walls of Jericho, the inhabitants of Jericho laughed at them. They did
not worry one bit about that little handful of people bringing their life as
they knew it down. But the people of Jericho were trespassing on God's
property. So God got involved and sent his mighty angels to assist Joshua
and his people in destroying Jericho. The people of Jericho never knew what
hit them. So know that when the world or even other Christians attack a
child of the living God, they are trespassing on God's property too. God
will go ahead of you with a battle plan and all you have to do is maintain
your position as a child of God and act like one. You let NO ONE change the
character of Christ that you chose when you were born again. Instead of
sighing and saying, "Gee, there are one of these trouble makers everywhere
you go", remember who you are in Christ. Encourage the others that are being
picked on too by reminding them that you will take care of this battle
because you are a Christian and .....there is always one in every
crowd....Patti

Hey Mister....Wake Up!!.......

I was day dreaming the other day while I sat in church. Shame on me. But
after all, it was just during the time that the ushers were collecting the
tithes and offerings. I was so happy. We had just had a wonderful Praise
and Worship session and I felt so full of the Spirit of God which always
shows up during our time of worship. My mind drifted back to when I was a
child. I remember one Sunday that my family and I were in church. I was
raised Catholic. Services in the Catholic church back then were strange to
me. First of all they were in Latin, which to a child just sounded like
muttering. I remember once I decided to join in the "muttering". Suddenly
I saw stars. My aunt, who heard me and thought that I was being
disrespectful, had given me a sharp rap on the back of the head. Okay.
Muttering was just for adults. What they didn't realize at the time was as
a child your head only rises about half way up the size of the crowd of
adults. The church was massive and all the voices created an incredible
echo and with everyone talking at once, all kids got down at our level was
"muttering". That is why I decided after the "rap" that muttering was an
adult activity. It was years until I could actually hear what was going on
and even then it was still in Latin. It was beautiful, but very reserved,
when everyone stood up at the same time and sang, although it was still in
Latin. And we sure got our exercise. Stand up, sit down, touch the floor
with your right knee and stand again, then kneel and put both knees on the
floor, do the Hokie Pokie and turn yourself around....oh sorry, I got
carried away again. But it was so regimented. You didn't have to think of
what to say cause the books (Missals) we had told us everything to say and
do. (I think that they were named Missals after the nuns. They could throw
one at you at 40 paces and get you dead on!) They let us know when to do
the standing and kneeling and it even told you when to hit your chest with
your fist and when the bells were going to ring and what to say back to the
priest when he talked to you and when to make the sign of the cross and it
even told you when it was time to leave. Absolutely no thought or passion
was ever required. One Sunday I remember a strong and really bad smell
coming from the row in front of us. It was the breath of the man sitting
next to the little boy who was sitting right in front of me. I remembered
the smell cause I smelled it every New Year's morning after my dad
"celebrated" too much the night before. His breath was awful the next day
and brushing his teeth never helped. As we sat there and the priest started
talking, the man's head started to bob and lull and then it went down on his
chest and stayed there. In a couple of minutes the guy actually started to
snore. I started to giggle. My aunt's head snapped toward me and before
she could deliver more "stars" the little boy in front of us yelled at the
top of his lungs..."Hey Mister....Wake up!" Everyone lost it and the
laughing just never seemed to stop. Everyone turned around and looked at
the guy who was totally stunned waking up to all that noise. Even the
priest laughed that day.

Now this sounds funny, but this will happen anytime and any where routine
sets in. Going to church should not be routine ever! The Bible tells us to
not fail to gather ourselves together for strength and edification. It also
tells us to raise a joyful noise unto the Lord. Read it for yourself.
Psalm 149:1-6, Psalm 49:13, Psalm 29: 1-2,9. And there are many more
references to worshiping the Lord in the Bible. If you can lose all dignity
at a football game, why is it so hard to dance and sing and worship before
our creator? Next time you go to church, give God all you have when you
worship Him. It is NOT disrespectful. He created you, He sustains you, He
sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for your salvation. Now that is
something to really get crazy about. Have fun at church. You are singing
and praising your King. What I am trying to say is "Hey Mister...Wake
Up!!......Patti

Just How Strong are You?....

Well, alone you only have the strength of mortal man. However, with Christ
in your life, your strength through Him is more than human limitations.
Your strength through Him is supernatural. In Deut. 32:30 NKJV we are told
of how one of us can put one thousand to flight and two of us can put ten
thousand to flight. This means that in the supernatural we can send one
thousand demons packing and two of us, in Christ, standing in agreement with
each other, can send ten thousand demons flying. Amazing strength. Amazing
bit of knowledge. And yet we as Christians often choose to live as
spiritual wimps! Amazing stupidity!

The Word of God also tells us in Psalm 27:1 KJV, "The Lord is my light and
my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life of
whom shall I be afraid?" In Psalm 66:5 it says, "Come and see the works of
God; He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men." (the unsaved)
In Isaiah 50:9 it says "Behold, the Lord God will help me: who is He that
shall condemn me? Lo, they shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat
them up."( If God is for you, who can be against you?) And in Mark 10:27 it
says "But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With men it is impossible, but not
with God, for with God all things are possible.'" And in Philippians 3:14
it says, "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me."

When we are born, we are subject to the Prince of this world and that is
Satan. However, when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior we take up
residence in the Kingdom of God as a brother of Christ and full heir of God!
If you have been offered a palace, why do you choose to stay in a pig sty?
Many of us choose to have one foot in the spiritual realm, usually when we
pray or are in trouble and need a "God Fix it Quick", and then one foot in
the world the rest of the time when life isn't too bad. Come on! Get that
other foot into the spiritual realm where it now belongs, now that you are a
child of the living God. The world perishes but the Kingdom of God is
forever. Once you draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh unto you. (James 15:
4-5). NOW you have put all the love and power of God into effect in your
life. You no longer have to be subject to failure and abuse. You are
forever victorious in all that the world will throw at you because you now
possess the awesome strength of God! If He abides in you, you can go into a
huddle with Him for every circumstance in your life and get the perfect game
plan for victory in every situation. You can go through trials in this
world with Jesus by your side and come out victorious and full of wisdom for
your journey through the trial instead of just another victim and statistic
in the world.

To get strength in the physical, you have to go to the gym and work out.
You have to pump iron to bulk up. And what is so funny, is that for all the
muscle you acquire on the outside to impress man, you are still a 90 pound
weakling to the devil. What a waste of time. To have real power and might,
claim your citizenship in the Kingdom and then, when you need strength, you
can flex your spirit man. You can ask your Father to send the angels to
help you. One angel has the power of 250,000 men in the natural! Walk with
Christ. And then the next time someone or the enemy asks you "Just how
strong are you?" you can tell them, "Through Christ, I have the strength of
251,000 men!".....Patti

Bitter Roots grow deep....

See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows
up to cause trouble and defile many. Hebrews 12:15

There is a saying that "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch". The same is
true in our relationships with others. As we go through life we are
inevitably going to come up against others that are going to cause us
stress. And if we are perfectly honest with ourselves, we irritate others
as well. But do we follow the teachings of Christ and turn the other cheek
or do we become combative? Do we confront the person that has offended us,
or that we have offended, to work it out, or do we seek consolation or
confirmation of our feelings with a third party? Life would be so much
simpler if when we offend or become offended, we would simply go to the
person that we have offended or has offended us and just straighten things
out. When we involve others, we get their opinions on the other person to
make us feel better or justified in our behavior. Now we have caused that
person to stand against another and if we are Christians, we are turning one
brother against another and we cause that person to sin. We now have two
people that we are responsible for in God's eyes. But it never ends there.
Now the person or persons that we have talked to, talk to others to get
support for the things that they have said, and before too long, with
everyone adding their own venom to the situation, you have bitter roots
firmly planted against several people. Now there is accountability for many
souls in God's eyes. Why do we do this to each other? And of particular
concern, I have seen Pastor's do this with the very congregation that God
has entrusted them with! They are so concerned with their "image" and their
"control" of the people, that they launch a rumor campaign against anyone
who dares disagree with them and then just stand back and watch as the
entire congregation takes sides. This is just plain vile in the eyes of God
and we and they will answer to God for this behavior.

If a rumor has been started, bitterness is taking root. It is like a weed.
If you don't pull the first one up by the root, it won't take long before
your beautiful garden is being choked off by weeds. They will choke out
everything in the garden that is good and lovely. And if you plant a rumor
of lies in someone else's mouth, you will be the one to choke on them! We
know better than this. This is not Christian behavior. Can you picture
Christ doing this? If you try and picture Him gossiping and tearing someone
down, it would be too ugly to even comprehend! And isn't it our assignment
from Him to love each other as we love ourselves? ( Matthew 22:39 ) Why do
we allow this bitterness into our lives? Why don't we recognize immediately
that it is the demons of hell that create such discord? And if we find that
ugly lies and rumors have been spread about us, instead of running to
someone and returning the hatred and rumors, why don't we hit the floor on
our knees and ask God to forgive those who are speaking ill about us? We
should ask God to intercede and redeem us and our good name. If you take
part, you become part. Check the bottom of your soul everyday an make sure
that you don't have any bitter roots starting to grow. If you do, cut them
out to the root with prayer and confession to the Father so that He may find
you blameless. And remember the next time you seek God for a need, is He
going to find a soul that is as a beautiful garden, or is He going to find
nothing but a patch of weeds? God cannot fellowship in a garden of weeds.
So know that before you can get any blessings from the Father, you have to
repent, and get out the shovel and dig up those weeds....Patti

A Letter to Father.....

Dear Heavenly Father,

How are things in Heaven today?

I am so glad that I have, and can call upon, such a deeply profound and
powerful Father. I know that when I call on You from so far away, You will
bring Heaven to Earth for me. You will literally make my life here Heaven
on Earth. I know this because when my brother, Jesus came here to earth and
died for me and all my other brothers and sisters, He left Your Kingdom here
for us.

I needed to communicate with You today because there are some things that I
really need in order to just get by. I know You will send them to me. You
always do. I hope that You never think that I take You for granted though.
I try to do the things that You have taught me. Especially about forgiving
others that have hurt and shamed me, because every time I do something bad,
I come to You and You forgive me in an instant each and every time. If You,
in all Your greatness can forgive me, who am I to not forgive others?

I wanted to tell You how I appreciate the way You have ordered my steps each
day so that I get better and better at not getting into situations or
associating with people that will lead me astray and away from Your loving
kindness. But I also know that if I should slip and fall, You will be there
to dust me off, set me back on the right path, and give me a big father's
hug to start me on my way again.

Some day I hope that I can see You again because I miss Your house and all
the power and glory that resides there because of You. But I don't worry
about it though because I know that it will be there forever and ever.

With All My Love and Respect, Your daughter,
Patti

If you dissect the Lord's Prayer, this is basically what you get. The next
time you say the Lord's Prayer, put some thought and love into it. Christ
did not actually "write a prayer" for us to say. But He gave us an
"outline" of how we should pray to our Heavenly Father. He gave us the
things that we should hold most important before our Father in Heaven.
Don't just rattle off a bunch of words. That is the danger of written
prayers. The next time you pray, make it a "Letter to Father".....Patti

Stop Yanking my Chain!....

Some are lucky. They are born into wonderful Christian homes with God
fearing parents that introduce their children to God and Jesus and the Holy
Spirit from the time they can say the names. Others are born into just
everyday families that may believe in God in their own ways, and may attend
church on Sundays every week, or just now and then or for holidays. But
their daily lives are pretty much devoid of any mention of God or of an
overall Godliness in the everyday comings and goings of their family. And
then there are those who are born into totally non-believing or
dysfunctional homes. Almost anything is possible here including using God
to suit the parents purposes and teaching their children to do the same.

In the first home you would be taught of a loving God that wants to
communicate with you and that loves you and will send His angels to protect
you in times of trial and danger. You would be taught that there is an
enemy of you and God, and that enemy is Satan and all his ugly demons that
work for him. You would be taught to pray and to call upon the precious
blood of the Lamb, Jesus, and that this would send the demons packing. You
would always know the power of prayer and God in your life.

Now the other two examples are a different story. The knowledge of God you
would receive from these two would be pretty superficial. They cannot teach
you of a loving God that wants to communicate with you because they don't
communicate with Him. They cannot teach you the importance of prayer to
fight off the demons because they think that the only time to pray is when
there is trouble. God cannot respond to those He does not know and that is
not God's fault. However, you will come to know the constant presence of
the enemy and his troops in your life. They are everywhere in an ungodly
home. They take the form of strife, anger, lying, suspicion, paranoia,
cheating, drugs, alcohol, abuse and oh so much more. You will grow up the
same way and carry the demons with you and pass them, and your behavior, on
to your children. This is what is know as Generational Curses.

But you can break this cycle. You can take a stand for your family and for
all the future generations of your family. You can accept Jesus as your
Lord and Savior. You can raise up your children in the way they should go
and establish a true and loving relationship between them and Jesus. But
you will have to establish a true bond between you and God. You must
retrain yourself as well. You have brought with you some very bad habits
that must be dealt with. You will catch yourself in lies, because where you
came from, lying was second nature. You will be quick to anger because that
is what you were met with everyday by your parents and siblings. You will
be numb to the dangers of drugs and alcohol and worse because in order to
survive, that is what you learned to do. You see, when you don't have God
in your life, it is so easy for Satan and his demons to put you on a chain
and constantly yank you around. They make you slaves to the world and all
it has to offer that will keep you from knowing your Heavenly Father. When
you break the cycle, you break the chains that bind you to the ways of the
past for you and for your children and their children. You establish a
Generational Blessing from your life on when you walk with God.

So what do you have to lose except another generation being yanked around by
Satan? Take a stand and tell the devil to...STOP YANKING MY CHAIN!
